Industry Training Auckland
We have been operating in Newmarket for more than 10 years. Industry Training Auckland has a history of working with the Ministry of Social Development to deliver a number of funded programmes including pilot programmes. We have been extremely successful in the design, recruitment and delivery of our programmes which has resulted in excellent outcomes.
Employment Accelerator offers participants the opportunity to build pre-employment skills and gain access to a number of employers in the Auckland region. We have supported placements into a number of industries including hospitality, retail, call centre, administration, customer services, IT, healthcare, building and construction. This is a very successful programme with placement outcomes at 80%. Nearly 1,000 participants have been supported into the workforce in the past 12 months.
Te Taura Here is a kaupapa Māori pre-employment programme supporting Māori learners, with a focus on development outcomes alongside employment skills. This programme offers participants a further 12 months of pastoral care support and has been running since 2021.
We are located at the heart of Newmarket and connected to an excellent public transport hub. Our office space is nice and attractive, allowing people to feel comfortable and become ready to make decisions about the future. Our aim is to help people reach their potential through building skills and knowledge, and tackling the areas that are holding them back. We work with people to build habits, increase confidence and map their futures through shared trust, honesty, manaakitanga and teamwork.
